Paul Bommersbach becomes LHS Principal
Lompoc Alumn named as LHS Principal

At a regular LUSD Board meeting held on Tuesday March 27, 2012 Mr. Paul Bommersbach was named as the new Principal for Lompoc High School.

Mr. Bommersbach has been in the Lompoc Unified School District family, serving as a teacher and Principal on the Elementary level, assisting on the coaching staff at LHS, and has most recently held the position of Assistant Principal for the Braves.

Mr. Bommersbach has been the interim Principal during the transition period from Mr. Gargarza and now as he takes the position of Principal, he will continue to work beside Mr. Ed Albright and Mrs. Leslie Martinez .

Paul Bommersbach is an alumni of Lompoc High School graduating in the 1980's.  During his high school career he played basketball and baseball and was an active member of the student body, he would be the first to tell you that academics was not his first and foremost focus during his high school years, but he was persistent and dedicated to sports and his love of school in general, and always had a positive attitude toward better achievements in his life.   Upon graduation Paul earned his degree from Mayville College and eventually made his way back to the Lompoc area to raise his family.

We are all very happy to welcome "Mr. B" as our new chief, it is a well deserved position and reflects his hard work and dedication to education and students of the Lompoc Valley.   We look to working together and moving Lompoc High School forward in a very positive direction.
